Global’s New Inverness Campus Headquarters Takes Shape as Steel Frame Completed

Our new Inverness Campus headquarters is now visibly taking shape on site. The structural steel frame of the 2,000 square metre office is now complete, with metal decking in place to provide access to the first and second floors where works can commence on the concrete upper floors and ground floor slabs

Ahead of the façade installation, which will give the building its final appearance, finalisation of the design for the structural framing systems is well underway, providing the support for the specialist facades systems. Civil works are progressing steadily, with core infrastructure, including drainage, ducting and significant surface water attenuation cells now complete. Focus turns to completion of the initial Civils works with finalisation of incoming utilities and early formation of the car park, to support site logistics.

Sarah Dunn, Chief Marketing Officer, commented: “This project is a real collaboration story, bringing together the wider Global portfolio to deliver a shared vision. Capstone Construction, as principal contractor, is proud to be leading the build, with the building designed by award-winning lead architect David Lawrie of Bracewell. Arthian is advising on acoustics, noise and vibration, while Global Port Services has provided lifting support for the steel using its modern crane and transport fleet.”

Supporting our ambitious growth strategy, once complete the new headquarters will bring the group together under one roof and provide the space to grow organically and through future acquisitions. With completion scheduled for autumn 2026, our Corporate Services team will be based at the office and will be joined by teams from Global Infrastructure, Global Power Services, Arthian Ltd, Bracewell, Global Highland, CHANCE Recruitment and Be Personnel.
