Global's New Headquarters Takes Shape as Steel Frame Completes and HIE Chief Executive Gets First Look

This week we were delighted to welcome Stuart Black, Chief Executive of Highlands and Islands Enterprise, to our new Global Headquarters, currently under construction at Inverness Campus.

With Capstone Construction as principal contractor, the structural steel frame of our 2,000 square metre office is now complete, with metal decking providing access to the first and second floors - real, visible progress since we broke ground in October.

It was fantastic to share our vision with Stuart and show him first-hand how the building is taking shape. Our new HQ will bring the operational offices of companies across the Global group together under one roof for the very first time, creating opportunity for greater collaboration, connection and growth.

Our new headquarters sits within the development boundary of the Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport, and we are proud to be playing our part in what is shaping up to be a truly transformational era for the Highlands.

With completion expected by the end of the year, we look forward to welcoming Stuart and the wider HIE team back once we're in.
